When it comes to the world of television shopping, there is only one brand name worth mentioning and that is QVC. With the UK channel launching in 1993, this is a brand that certainly knows its game and with live shows being broadcast for 17 hours of the day, there is always something exciting to tune into. From the leading beauty ranges and experts, innovative home and kitchen products and eye catching trend led fashion, they offer such an eclectic selection of products and with an iconic 30 day money back guarantee, they are one of the leading retailers and have won many awards against many high street giants.
So when I was asked to be one of their ‘Fashion Experts’ in 2014, I was absolutely delighted; what better combination than talking about my ultimate passion and love for style on live TV and for a unique line up of brands.
Many of the brands I now represent are exclusive to QVC in the UK so it makes them really bespoke and very exciting to talk about. Aside from those, I do a lot of the mixed fashion shows as the focus is on styling each piece and helping the lovely viewers to know how it would work with their existing wardrobe.
And most recently, I have been hosting a brand new show concept on QVC Style (a separate channel focusing on all things fashion) called ‘Style Your Wardrobe’. I absolutely love this as it’s about helping women to build a full wardrobe and giving them the confidence to try new things. Each show, I create 10 new style concepts which I then style on models and discuss on camera; this normally involves a few trends for the season and then some key rules for building an outstanding wardrobe (body shape dressing, Capsule wardrobe).
Through this show, I am able to capture all the style requirements that I hear on a daily basis through my gorgeous clients and answer them for women everywhere. For me its all about giving women that feeling of unstoppable confidence through their style and making sure they have a wardrobe that they adore every single day.
Style your Wardrobe is on QVC Style (Sky Channel 678):
Wednesdays @ 7pm and Sundays 10am.
